So I thought I would put together a guide on step-by-step instructions on how to make Repashy worms (there is a video but it’s kind of long and I say “um” ALOT).
You can purchase Repashy or a Repashy Worm kit from our online store
Items you will need:
- Repashy Gel Food: Meat Pie or Grub Pie
- Silicone Mold
- Pipette
- Heat safe glass measuring cup
- Measuring spoon (unless you have the 12oz container that comes with it’s own measuring spoon)
- Whisk (or some other stirring device)
Step 1: Measure out 1/2 cup water and bring it to boiling point (Usually 1:30 minutes in the microwave will do it or you can choose to bring it to a boil on your stove top).
Step 2: Measure out 2 tablespoons (or two scoops) of Repashy. You can add more if you feel that the mixture is too soupy…more mixture means a firmer gel but you want to add a MINIMUM of 2 tablespoons.
Step 3: Mix or whisk your Repashy in your hot water until mixture no longer has any lumps.
Step 4: Use your pipette to quickly put the mixture into your silicone mold (as it cools it will begin to set).
Step 5: Allow for your worms to cool for at least 30 minutes before feeding or storing. Pre-made worms can be stored for up to 2 weeks in the refrigerator.
